Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Aras Workshop ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Sat Gambit mobile application (the "App"). By using the App you agree to the practices described here.

1. Who we are

Aras Workshop is the studio behind Sat Gambit. The studio is the data controller for personal data processed through the App. You can reach us at arasworkshop36@gmail.com.

2. Data we collect

We collect only what we need to run the game and improve it. Specifically:

• Account data — when you create an account we collect your email address and an authentication token managed by Firebase Authentication. We do not see or store your password.
• Gameplay data — your in-game username, avatar/cosmetic choices, satellites, inventory, server membership, station coordinates (which you enter yourself, and which can be updated once per month), boosts, gambits, and similar gameplay state. This is stored in Cloud Firestore.
• Device and diagnostic data — anonymised device identifiers, OS version, app version, crash stack traces, and aggregate usage events collected via Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics. These help us fix bugs and improve the game.
• Push notification token — issued by Firebase Cloud Messaging so we can notify you when a gambit you launched resolves or other gameplay events occur.
• Advertising identifiers — when you choose to watch a rewarded ad, Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) may process your device's advertising identifier to serve and measure the ad. You can reset or limit this identifier at any time in your device settings.
• Purchase information — when you buy an in-app item, the purchase is processed by Google Play Billing or Apple In-App Purchase. We receive a receipt and the items you bought; we never see your payment card details.

3. How we use the data

• To create and operate your account.
• To run the game (sync state across devices, place you on a server, resolve gambits, deliver rewards).
• To send push notifications you have opted into.
• To diagnose crashes and measure performance.
• To serve rewarded ads if you choose to watch them.
• To enforce our Terms of Service and prevent abuse.

4. Who we share data with

We do not sell your personal data. We share limited data with service providers who process it on our behalf:

• Google / Firebase — authentication, database, push notifications, analytics, crash reporting, and Cloud Functions.
• Google AdMob — rewarded video ads.
• Google Play Billing / Apple App Store — payment processing for in-app purchases.

We may disclose data if required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Aras Workshop, our players, or the public.

5. Where data is stored

Game data is stored in Google Firebase regions managed by Google. By using the App you agree that your data may be transferred to and processed in those regions.

6. How long we keep data

We keep your account and gameplay data while your account is active. Crash reports and analytics events are retained according to the Firebase defaults (currently up to 14 months for analytics, 90 days for Crashlytics non-fatal events).

7. Deleting your account

You can delete your account at any time from inside the App: open the Profile tab and tap Delete Account. This permanently deletes your Firebase Authentication account; associated gameplay records become inaccessible.

If you would prefer to request deletion outside the App, email arasworkshop36@gmail.com from the address associated with your account and we will process the request within 30 days.

8. Children

Sat Gambit is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, port, restrict, or delete your personal data, and to withdraw consent. Email us at arasworkshop36@gmail.com to exercise these rights.

10. Security

Data in transit is protected by HTTPS. Server-side access is gated by Firebase Authentication and Firestore security rules. No system is 100% secure, but we follow current industry practice.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. Material changes will be announced in the App or via the email address on file. Continued use of the App after the change takes effect means you accept the updated policy.
