Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Aras Workshop ("we", "us", "our") governing your use of the Sat Gambit mobile application, its servers, and related services (together, the "Game"). By downloading, accessing, or playing the Game you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Game.

1. Eligibility

The Game is not directed at children under 13, and you must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country, if higher) to play. If you are a minor in your jurisdiction, you may use the Game only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian, who agrees to these Terms on your behalf.

2. Your account

You need an account to play. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it current. You may delete your account at any time from the Profile tab → Delete Account, or by emailing us (see the Privacy Policy and deletion page).

3. Licence to play

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the Game for your own non-commercial entertainment. We and our licensors retain all rights, title, and interest in the Game, including its code, art, audio, names, and trademarks. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, resell, or create derivative works from the Game except where the law expressly permits it.

4. Virtual items and virtual currency

• The Game contains virtual currencies (e.g. Exotic Dust, Credits, Data, Energy) and virtual items (e.g. modules, cosmetics, satellites, passes) (together, "Virtual Goods").
• Virtual Goods have no monetary value and are not your property. They are a limited licence to a feature of the Game. They cannot be redeemed for real money, sold, traded outside the Game, or transferred between accounts, except where an in-Game feature expressly allows it.
• All sales of Virtual Goods are final and non-refundable except where a refund is required by applicable law or by the rules of the app store you purchased through.
• We may create, modify, manage, balance, price, or remove Virtual Goods, and may expire unused Virtual Goods, at our discretion. When your account is deleted or terminated, any Virtual Goods are forfeited without compensation.

5. Purchases and billing

In-app purchases are processed by Google Play Billing (and, where the Game is offered on iOS, Apple In-App Purchase). Those stores are the merchant of record; their terms and refund policies apply to your transaction. If a charge is refunded, reversed, or charged back, we may revoke the corresponding Virtual Goods and adjust your balances accordingly.

6. Rewarded ads

The Game may offer optional rewarded advertisements served by Google AdMob. Watching an ad is voluntary. Where required, we will ask for your consent to personalised advertising; you can play without watching ads.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• cheat, exploit bugs, use bots, automation, or unauthorised third-party software, or tamper with game state, the economy, or other players' accounts;
• access the servers or data other than through the official Game client;
• harass, threaten, impersonate, or abuse other players, or post unlawful, hateful, or infringing content (including in usernames, alliance names, or chat/wall features);
• buy, sell, or transfer accounts or Virtual Goods for real-world value;
• infringe anyone's intellectual-property or privacy rights; or
• do anything unlawful or that disrupts the Game or other players' enjoyment of it.

8. User-provided content

You are responsible for content you create in the Game, such as your display name and alliance name. You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host and display that content for the purpose of operating the Game. We may remove content or names that violate these Terms.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Game, in whole or in part, if you breach these Terms, harm other players, or use the Game unlawfully, and we may remove content or reset progress obtained through prohibited means. You may stop playing and delete your account at any time. Termination does not entitle you to any refund or compensation for Virtual Goods.

10. Orbital data and "as is" disclaimer

The Game is fictional entertainment. Orbital data shown in the Game is derived from publicly available sources (including CelesTrak), is provided for gameplay only, and must not be used for any operational, navigational, scientific, or safety-critical purpose. The Game and all data in it are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Game will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aras Workshop will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, progress, Virtual Goods, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Game. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law (including your statutory consumer rights).

12. Changes to the Game and these Terms

We may change, update, suspend, or discontinue the Game or any feature at any time. We may also update these Terms; material changes will be announced in the Game or via the email on file. Continued use after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have where you live. Disputes will be subject to the competent courts, save for any non-waivable right you have to bring proceedings in your country of residence.
